Minimizing stalking isn’t cute
Jon Lovett had an incredible megaphone here…. But he mostly uses it to audition for late night with milk-toast political comedy instead of taking on the emerging police state in any meaningful way.
I hope for his sake he earns the role as “controlled opposition” that he is auditioning for. But this moment calls for a person who can stand on both feet and speak truth to power.
Please Oh please do a much better job of not seeming like urban disconnected entitled lefty elites. We love your show, we look to you for insight to our political world. Take just a moment and be selective of the corporations that you’re choosing to take money from and share their twisted message on your platform.
I start every Saturday with Lovett or Leave It!! It’s hilarious and informative!! I’m a huge fan of the entire Crooked Media Universe!💙💪🏾🇺🇸Quick comment on the 2/14/26 episode re: whether to say ‘I love you’ first. A witty, fast-paced political satire show blends sharp commentary on current events with big-name guests from entertainment and reality TV. Episodes frequently mix improvisational bits, audience energy, and candid conversations with actors, comedians, and media personalities, delivering punchy takes on politics, culture, and media narratives. Noteworthy is the mix of hard political analysis with playful banter, ad reads, live show dynamics, and a propensity to break format with games and segues that reveal guests' personalities beyond their public personas. The format and guest roster often attract listeners who enjoy irreverent humor paired with topical critique and contemporary pop culture references.
