I have been listening to Jon and the rest of crooked media’s products since 2017, and they have closely followed the standard big democrat line. This podcast is solely anti-trump and is incapable of mounting a counter-conservative point without Trump. Jon and friends refuse (or are unable to) look past anything related to Trump to understand what the Democratic Party is just as big of a problem as the Republican Party. It is difficult for them to understand that people might agree with popular p... more
Jon's monologue was excellent at the beginning, the above guest was.... OK. Not mentioning Israel once, "speculating" it was solely the Saudis that encouraged Trump to attack Iran, and that corruption in government ISN'T systemic, were laughably naive takes at best, a limited hangout at worst. She writes for the Atlantic though, so no shock there.
I cannot thank you enough for this episode. I have been truly torn up by the ugly bloodthirsty and meaningless utter lack of humanity shown by our country’s “leadership,” and how this is reflected in the overall state of the world today. War is never pretty, but this is inane and inhumane nearly beyond words - memeification indeed, in serv... more
Trump doesn’t do strategy, he does stuff. He said it himself, it all depends on how he feels. Ann Applebaum gets it, it’s great to hear her sane assessment of an insane cabal.
This is a well thought out, excellently produced podcast. Deep conversations with articulate experts and I wish everyone could hear Jon Faveau’s commentary- it’s pithy, hits hard and spotlights the need for decency.
