Every episode re-examines something from the past—an event, a person, an idea, even a song—and asks whether we got it right the first time. From Pushkin Industries. Malcolm’s storytelling has had me in a chokehold from the day (many moons ago) I heard him on The Moth podcast. I just finished the Alabama Murders and I just had to acknowledge the Masterpiece that it is.
Over the years, this show has put out some wonderful episodes. I’ve been a long time listener. It has become so totally saturated with adds it’s almost unlistenable. Malcolm will stump for literally anyone who will pay: AI, tech, credit cards, etc. It’s really sad that there are too many adds to enjoy the show and also sad that he’ll speak for any company if they’ll pay, seemingly no matter how bad a service or detrimental an ideology.
Personally I prefer not to listen to podcasts from people that flew on Jeffrey Epstein’s Lolita Express, but maybe that’s just me
Let’s all feel bad for the movie studio CEO everyone! 👎👎👎👎👎 Also, this podcast has more ads than any of the dozens of other pods I listen to
Is there any topic Malcolm isn’t interested in? I’ve learnt so much from Malcolm’s enquiring mind. I’ve now read all of his books and recommend them to friends. This podcast has opened up so many interesting conversations. Love it!
