  • Layered and Nuanced

Every episode is layered and nuanced. As soon as the episode ends I typically immediately listen to it again because there is so much to examine. These are universal topics that we typically don’t talk about because they expose our vulnerabilities, but I think it’s about time we embrace our vulnerabilities.

  • Hearing what you didn't expect

You don't expect it, when the words and feeling you've had in years past come out of the mouth of others. It's not the same experience, it's not the same problems, but hearing that the feelings and emotions are reflect by others who are struggling through similar and difficult situations is staggering every time it happens. • Sincere and captivating

I listened to the first episode and was totally captivated by the story being told. I think the format of the podcast is fantastic too. They talk about such deep issues, but the conversational way they dive deeper and deeper into it makes it so accessible. It’s raw in its honesty and every episode is so sincere. I think it’s impossible not to be griped by every moment of it.

  • Absolutely Sincere.

A podcast with this premise could easily get overwhelming, but Suzy G and Nick Flora have found a great balance. It’s nuanced and sincere and lovely and broken and sewn back together and just plain human in the best way. Are we allowed to talk about this yet soars to a place that few podcasts, interviews, or discussions go with a sincerity and uniqueness hard to find elsewhere. I want to curl up by the fire with a mug and Suzy G and dive in to the familiarity of a best friend’s conversation.
