  • Expert advice, inspiration, and encouragement for all writers.

As a long-time listener, I always come away from each episode inspired and armed with great, insightful “takeaways” gleaned from Ann’s own expertise and experience in writing and publishing, as well as that of the authors, editors and other insiders she regularly interviews on the show. Ann asks the burning questions we want to ask, and has a wealth of knowledge herself in publishing and coaching which she generously shares. Thank you, Ann, for all you do to encourage, equip, and come along side... more

  • Extremely Actionable and Enjoyable

When I want to learn some thing, I don’t want to waste my time wading through a lot of irrelevant information. Ann is effective at cutting out the fluff and leaving us with exactly what we need to know. Bonus: she has THE best voice of any Podcaster I have ever listened to and I have listened to hundreds. I thoroughly enjoy her podcast and if you are interested in improving your writing, I believe you will, too.

  • Bottom line podcast

My favorite thing about Ann’s podcasts is that they are about writing. I hate listening to congratulatory commentary between host and guest. I’m also not interested in hearing rambling promotions for the guest’s new book. If I like what the guest is saying, I’ll get the book without needing an endless preamble.

I’ve listened to about four podcasts thus far and have yet to be bored or disappointed. I’ve also ordered one of the guest’s books. I’m getting great insight and learning a lot.

    Thank... more
