Why have guests when she carries on way too long. If you’re gonna have a guest, make them the prominent person of the show not you.

Alisa has a lot of solid things to say. In a world seemingly gone crazy, she provides a biblical woman’s perspective that stands up for God’s ultimate plan.

I heard her speak about a mother and their new born not being able to be separated by far. My daughter in law is a mom at home. She breastfed all four of her kids to a natural separation. She is not outwardly Christian, but God’s plan shines through all she does for them and their father.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

#368 Why God Allows Suffering (It’s Not Random) | Clay & Jean E. Jones
Q: What practical steps can someone take to stay hopeful during prolonged suffering?
The guests suggest using a Truth Journal to record scriptures, past deliverances, and personal prayers; memorizing eternal truths about heaven; focusing on actions that align with faith rather than fear; and sharing testimonies to encourage others while remaining anchored in God's promises.
#368 Why God Allows Suffering (It’s Not Random) | Clay & Jean E. Jones
Q: How could God allow all this suffering in the world, especially for a child?
Clay explains that suffering is part of living in a fallen world, yet believers can find meaning by honoring God through suffering, maintaining an eternal perspective, and recognizing how suffering can refine faith and witness. They discuss the idea that God uses suffering for growth and for opportunities to demonstrate faith publicly.
#366 Bethel Exposed: What Should Christians Do Now? | Naomi Wright
Q: Can you describe the moment you realized the environment you grew up in had cult-like characteristics?
Naomi explains recognizing high-control dynamics, the masking of abuse as divine order, and the difficulty in admitting that even beloved leaders could be flawed or harmful, which sparked her move toward healing and reform.
#364 Did Adam & Eve Really Exist? Why It Matters More Than You Think | Dr. J.R. Miller
Q: Why is the concept of the genealogies in Genesis important to the debate about Adam and Eve?
Genealogies serve purposes beyond mere chronology; they establish sacred lineage, legal and ethnic origins, and ultimately lead to Abraham's call, which ties into God's salvation plan, complicating simplistic 'first humans' claims.
#364 Did Adam & Eve Really Exist? Why It Matters More Than You Think | Dr. J.R. Miller
Q: What is Craig's mytho-history view and how does it differ from a straight historical reading of Genesis?
Craig argues that Genesis 1-11 combines mythic and historical elements, treating it as a pre-history with theological truths rather than a strict historical account; the Bible's intent is preserved even if certain details aren't literally historical.
