  • Questionable at Best

If you are seeking a thoughtful, ethical, and clinically grounded podcast on living with dissociative identity disorder, this is one you should avoid.

Drew and the “Garden System” present their podcast under the banner of lived experience, yet repeatedly drift into offering unsubstantiated and unqualified therapeutic guidance. While personal narratives can be powerful, the stories shared here are frequently framed in ways that risk misleading an already highly vulnerable audience. In my view, n... more

  • Incredibly relatable and validating

This is my favorite podcast on DID because I relate so much to what the hosts share. Sometimes I feel my system is just to fantastical. I must be delusional —- even though I know dissociative identities are an incredibly CREATIVE coping mechanism used by young children.

Drew and Garden System are candid and mirror to me the validity of these experiences I am having. I especially love their episodes on internal communication, denial, acceptance and authenticity.

  • Great show on a professional and personal level

This podcast has helped me as I am newly diagnosed with DID. The hosts of the podcasts both have helped me navigate on a personal level and has made me feel so validated. There is so much good info on here professionally and on a personal journey from their prospectives with their experiences living with DID. Highly recommend. And thank you for giving us your time to help me and mine understand the ins and outs of DID. We appreciate you.

  • Recently diagnosed

I was and currently am struggling to face this new way of understanding myself. Even though I “know” it’s true, it’s a painful process to “refile” my perceptions and bring parts of me to the surface.

I am so appreciative of this podcast and the two of you. It’s normalizing my experience and helping me reframe my experiences on what I am coming to understand as “parts”.

Thank you for being vulnerable and sharing your parts with mine 🥰 It is healing and helpful.
