The episode 'Life Skills' offers a grounded take on the real-life skills kids need, from budgeting and communication to everyday household tasks, and it’s refreshing to hear them framed as essential education. The reminder that these can be taught naturally through daily life really stands out, especially in a homeschooling context. Really enjoyed listening to this and how it reframes what “being ready for life” actually looks like.

Julie and Melissa’s energy, wisdom and insights get me fired up to homeschool in a way that lights the same fire in the kids for learning. This is my consistent go-to podcast weekly and the only curriculum I’ve invested in thus far. 100/100 stars.

Julie and Melissa always feel like a huge hug on difficult days! I’ve been struggling with math for my 4th grader and your Nov 12th podcast just opened my eyes! Make it meaningful! So now I’m finding fun ways around the house to learn angles and why they matter so much and building her own little house with off angles! I never miss a show and look forward to Mondays! You both a such a gem and I’m so thankful to have you by “my side” while homeschooling! Thank you ladies!
