This podcast is blowing my mind. I’ve heard a lot about read aloud revival and have tried to get library hold from their lists. But wow! I am so glad I’ve found this podcast. It is now the most important podcast I’m keeping up with.
It is helping me to realize what and why and how this aspect of education is so important and effective, enriching and elevating!
When I decided this would be the route I would take for my children’s education in 2020 I felt so alone. I did what came natural to me read books, bought toys that weren’t overstimulating, low tech, outdoor time. Yet I still didn’t think it was “enough” … even their father would question my abilities. Then one day this podcast suggestion appears, I binge listen to a ton of episodes and I’m in love! I have found my people!
Lots of super helpful parenting advice and the Book of the Week and free booklists are the best! Reading with my kids is now my favorite thing to do because I have a new perspective from this podcast.
