Educational and fun, even for a yankee from the colonies! Particularly enjoyed MST and MOONBASE eps!
An excellent mix of intelligent, informed factual commentary and engaging, well-pitched discussion by two podcasters outstanding in their field (although they should probably come in soon, they’ll catch cold out there).
Having recently watched MOONBASE 3 (BBC1, 1973), I was searching for more information on this short-lived sister series to DOCTOR WHO, produced by Barry Letts and script edited by Terrance Dicks. Search and ye shall find. Neil and John of WORLD OF TELLY devoted their debut episode to an engaging review of the series, dense with information and fair in its critical evaluation. I have subscribed and look forward to whatever these fellows tackle next.
Really interesting, funny and informative listen… brilliant to see some forgotten shows being examined. More in the same vein please - The Changes and Star Maidens would be great choices. Both largely forgotten
Fantastic to listen to Neil and John talk about Moonbase 3. Knowledgeable and funny, can’t wait to hear more of their discussions about ‘every television series ever made’.
