The podcast is fine and the hosts are fun, but they often get things wrong with relation to new releases (“this is the third in a series” when it’s actually the fourth, as the most recent example) seems they don’t look into the films they go to see.
My new favourite podcast, the most entertaining and honest (‘reel!!) way to keep up with new releases in a way that inspires you to check them out - or not! They both know a lot about the film industry and have some great chats. Love it!
I love the dad and daughter dynamic! Two insightful and entertaining people talking about one of my passions: TV and Film…or is that two passions??

Episodes mix personal anecdotes, behind-the-scenes insights, and thoughtful discussions on direction, pacing, and performance across a broad slate of titles, from blockbuster premieres to streaming discoveries. A standout feature is the dynamic father-daughter pairing, which adds generational perspectives and a relatable, spoiler-light vibe that many listeners find engaging and approachable.
