As the family member of an alcoholic, I wish I’d had this podcast and the wealth of empowering, informative information it contains 9 years ago when I was first figuring out how to help my dad. This podcast is an excellent resource for family members and friends of those suffering from addiction. Highly recommend!
Christopher Doyle does a great job of selecting guests who cover the various topics around addiction and recovery. He is open about his own story which lends credibility. He is also knowledgeable about addiction and how to help family members change. I would highly recommend Why Intervention as podcast to listen to regularly if you are concerned about substance use disorder.
Informative answers to hard questions. Insightful, yet deliberate rebuttals to The Who, What’s and Why questions that often present themselves in this family disease. I have gotten something out of each episode with Dan, Earl, and Dr. Rosenberg. Keep up the great work.
Chris is a total pro. Excellent interviewer and speaker. Provides personal and professional insight in to the world of addiction and intervention.
