  • Bill H “ya know ….”?????

“Like. Ya know” ….. trail off. Be non specific. Take ages to reply to someone. “Ya know”. Are you actually here? Paying attention? “Like. Ya know.” “Ya know”. “Like. Ya know.” Pause. Pause. Pause. “Ya know”. “Like like like …. ”

Can I make a suggestion? Don’t pause so long over nothing. Don’t use crutch words on a podcast. You say “like” and “ya know” soooooo often and then you offer literally ( and I mean literally. ) Nothing. Like. Ya know. …

  • Under rated

I’ve been listening to who killed for a couple years now. I really like it- especially the Amy episodes. I think the host is at his best doing the ‘deep dives’, but they’re all pretty good imo. The only episode I didn’t like was the Turney episode because as someone already stated it did come off a little like an awkward first date lol. But I think it’s overall a great listen. He’s also adopted a new style of presentation lately that’s really great sounding. Keep it up, I love this podcast!!!

  • Take the advice

I think the host needs to take a course in public/broadcast speaking. I’m not being rude, most people would benefit. There are certain bad habits each generation picks up (e.g. saying “like” repeatedly) and we reinforce that habit in conversation with our peers. It’s good to take a step back and gain perspective. Listen to how great broadcasters pace their speaking and don’t fill silence with um, like, you know. This pod has potential but currently it’s just hard to listen.
