  • Gripping Stories, Wonderfully Researched

I’ve truly enjoyed this show since discovering it during the pandemic, when I spent many hours absolutely enthralled by the gripping and well-researched stories. Even more fun are the rather arcane historical mysteries, such as “what really happened to” the so-called “Good” King John. The host is charming, enthusiastic, vivacious, humorous and sincerely intellectually curious. I just hope there will be many more seasons!

  • Can't help himself

I wanted to like this show but no matter what subject this guy talks about he has to either insult or lie or ruin the subject. He acts like he's unbiased thoughtful and truthful but is really dishonest kinda dumb and oblivious about what is really the truth every single episode. This is a cookie cutter format that 99% of podcasts use and it's failing most people miserably. The Rock is a producer so I should have know it would be in a bubble.
