KJ use to be my absolute favorite podcaster because I love her “tells it like it is” attitude, BUT lately, it seems like she focuses too much on someone’s looks and goes as far as body shaming people. That’s NOT ok. Also, if you listen, be prepared for her ads/sponsors to pop up mid sentence. There isn’t any warning whatsoever. Way too many 5 star reviews make it seem these reviewers could be family.
Listened to the Sarah Boone case, and 3 things stood out which others have also mentioned:
1. She doesn’t tell you upfront this is a multi-episode case. You think you’re getting the whole story in the one episode, then at the end she wants you to come back for the rest.
2. Criticism of women’s looks. She described a woman’s “jowls,” as if that has anything to do with the case.
