  • Love this show, listen everyday

I’m just so confused as to why the podcast versions on 5/18 and 5/19 (so Sun/Mon live shows) are exactly the same. This is obviously a mistake since it has the same talk backs, a reference to it being Sunday when it should be Mondays show coming out on a Tue. I’m just so surprised by the sudden lack of quality. I know the ladies will correct it… but when? It’s 5pm and the podcasts are identical:-(

  • Sorry! I had to.

I listen to the show for info but the main podcaster is just ok as far as true crime podcasters go. I’ve never called out anybody on a podcast for their pronunciation of anything, but I had to today. You just said “Two pack” for 2Pac. 🤦‍♀️

  • Michele Locke is awful!

Please stop giving her a platform. She is upholding the system that is failing so many women.

  • Enjoyable but huge “BUT”

You guys MUST stop interrupting the gentleman when he speaks. I am interested in what he has to say as much as I am interested in what the Ladies have to say. It comes off as rude and dismissive and it’s driving me nuts. It’s otherwise a very decent show.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Cruise Ship Murder, The Crash Backlash, & Epstein Questions
Q: What does the timeline tell us about the critical moments when Anna Kepner was with the suspect?
The hosts and Jarrett Ferentino review surveillance and CCTV details, noting that the only two people in the room when Anna Kepner died were Timothy Hudson and Anna herself, which supports the conclusion of a deliberate act rather than a random accident.
RE-RELEASE: Charlie Kirk Court Fight, Delphi Appeal & The Hollywood Fire Devil
Q: Should high-profile court proceedings be open to the public and televised?
The hosts discuss the pros and cons, agreeing that transparency helps counter conspiracy theories and inform the public, while acknowledging concerns about fair trial rights and potential sensationalism.
Boy Band Murder Plot, Tennessee School Shooting Trial, and Austin Drummond Explodes in Court
Q: What are the major legal questions in the six‑year‑old shooting case against the assistant principal?
The panel discusses whether the assistant principal can be held criminally responsible for failing to act on warnings, the potential penalties per count, and how the case interacts with civil outcomes and Fourth Amendment rights.
Sheriff Nanos Under Fire, the Correspondents’ Dinner Attack, and the Aaron Hedges Mystery
Q: How does jurisdiction play into outdoor investigations when multiple agencies could be involved?
Jurisdiction can become tangled across federal, state, and local lines, especially on public lands, necessitating coordination rather than unilateral leadership, which is something Blood Trails aims to illustrate through case studies.
Sheriff Nanos Under Fire, the Correspondents’ Dinner Attack, and the Aaron Hedges Mystery
Q: What makes crimes in wilderness settings different from typical urban cases?
Outdoor crimes often involve strangers rather than people known to the victim, and investigations contend with vast, remote crime scenes, limited immediate access to evidence, and unique logistical challenges that require different investigative approaches.
