Elyse has a super relaxing voice and excellent pacing, perfect for true crime. I love that the stories all take place on the West Coast (and mostly in the PNW), and that she’s incredibly ethical and not at all exploitive with how she tells them. Her legal training is relayed in her professionalism and respect for the victim’s stories.
I also love that she gives back to animal charities in so many different ways!
I appreciated the effort but I want the host to tell me a story, not read me a Google article. I also deducted points for the loud LOUD intro music and for listing a cat as a “co-host”.
She has a nice voice though, there’s potential here…
I can not wait for the new episodes to come out. Love the format of this podcast and hearing about the PNW. Some cases I’ve never heard and cases that are known she does a great job in telling the story. I love when we randomly hear Winston in the background. She does an amazing job telling these stories while being respectful of the victims and their family.
Also! True Crime Cat Lawyer stickers are fire! I love collecting all my Winston’s. I also love that proceeds go to help animal shelters... more
Love that these episodes are specific to the PNW. Always love listening to a true crime episode.
Somewhat of a true crime buff myself, I found this podcast to be very easy to listen to, and to follow along. unfortunately, in today’s society, this show will never run out of content to cover. Nicely done short episodes great listen while I’m shopping and driving. Good job ladies.
