There are a lot of problems with this podcast, unfortunately. First, I agree with the other reviewers who observed that Jeanne’s delivery is monotonous and lacking in personality — and that it feels like she’s cramming two podcast topics into one.
Second, she offers no credentials as a health expert, and appears to use this podcast to shill products from an MLM (Three International).
Sorry, not for me.
I stumbled soon this podcast because it has something new in each episode and I am learning while I am listening. I often find myself going back to the transcript so I can learn more and then go and do some additional recon my own! Worth the listen!
I appreciate the holistic lens and questioning the media and government when it comes to health—I agree with a lot of that. But it just wasn’t that engaging. A bit monotonous on the health info and sounds timid. Also sounds like she’s reading, so usually not bringing much personality except when she shares more of her opinion, but then she goes right back to reading. Lots of technical info which just isn’t my jam—feels like listening to someone read a nutrition label.

I like the concept of this podcast. Throwing away what we don’t need and what’s not good for us. The information seems researched. I also like hearing the mountain stories. However, the entire podcast is in the same exact tone. Even the comical parts- it’s like the slightest upbeat shift in the host’s tone. This makes it hard to listen to, at least for me. I would still encourage people to listen to it and see if they like the delivery of it or not.
So helpful to find ways to improve my health! There is not a lot of fluff and the stories are entertaining! Great podcast!
