Its just... not that good. A hyper, blabbering main character, a whole lot of pointless, boring dialogues/monologues that don't contribute anything to the story (what there is of it to begin with), acting that is often over the top. Half way in I just lost any interest to see what - if anything - actually happens. Sometimes less is more and there needs to be a story, not a bunch of boring conversations and small talk.
Things Unsaid is a fun and unique podcast that follows Paige, recently home from college, searching for her missing mother, a deaf woman who vanished suddenly and without explanation. She reads through her mom's old diaries hoping to find clues, and in so doing shows her mom's senior year of high school, where talks of college and boys are overtaken as a mystery comes increasingly to light. A fantastic show with a unique outlook. The creators have put so much thought and care into this!
