I thank you for putting the show together. I know you can’t help it, but your voice is highly irritating. Couple that with the long winded unnecessary analysis and I am fast forwarding through most of your show. Nonetheless, I think you’re a great person for pod casting this collection. I wish you would limit you you’re talking. The Bethenny Frankel ad is also extremely annoying.
It boggles my mind how a man so dedicated to radio, spending years of his life listening to radio, absolutely does not care enough about his own listeners to even try to develop his tone to attempt to craft a radio voice. Been listening for a long time and Adam is the best in the business. Love the current rotation of shows and all the other offerings from the WW2 special to the Amazing World of Radio and Snack Wagon. The new Adventure series has been entertaining as well. I have recently started revisiting the show from the beginning through the individual season podcasts. I appreciate your commitment to preserving these great shows!
Some of these shows have gaps of silence that show up sporadically throughout the runtime. I don't know if the producer is aware of this or not. It obviously wrecks the narrative completely.
After all the talking and all the ads, I found I spent as much time pressing fast forward as I did listening.
