When great entertainment and history combine, the result is sublime. This series is a must. I learned so much that I didn’t even realize I didn’t know. I have read many of the writers featured in the play, and my wife was Dorothy West’s nurse. But this play delivers a whole new chapter in our history that is fascinating, illuminating, and entertaining! I highly recommend it.
I never heard this story, loved every minute of it! History just repeats itself just with different players 🥰
I finished this a while ago and I’m writing my review now but this Made me feel like I was back in time listening to a soap opera on the radio. The storyline was great and It really made you feel like you were actually there in time. When are y’all making season 2? I’m waiting…..
A surprise story that provides a distraction from the everyday nonsense
I have enjoyed this very much… as a fellow podcaster (bad fruit podcast) I enjoy the enthusiasm in the actors voices and the story plot that unfolds with vivid imagery; it takes me to Harlem, it takes me to Russia, and takes me back in time to a world I can not understand, but this podcast gives understanding , clarity and a sense that not all hope is lost, not all hearts are cold. And Hope is always one smile away.
