I started listening to this, not knowing what it had in store. The first season is brilliant and interesting, and I loved the interactions between all the characters. Then came the second season. And all that did was make me go back and listen to the first season again, thinking about how well they had planned everything, and all the hints they’d given. Then everything comes together between all the characters towards the end. Apparently there’s another season coming; I can’t wait!
Every romantic relationship in the series relies on sound cues that are VERY hard to pick up on. I didn’t know anything was happening between the two main characters until I read the episode synopsis.
Good stuff first, the writing for the story and the writing for the character dynamics are great. The actual performances are all very well done, honestly not a bad performance in the series. But it has its problems. The overarcing plot feels like the generic theology plot that most people write when wanting to takle the topic of religion, can't really say I'm a fan of it.
