Love the book reviews on this podcast. Not worried about being respectable or fitting in. Loved the episode about Prince Henry the Navigator because it had some real lessons for our time.
If you aren’t an urbanite eunuch bugman and got spare time to read, you will enjoy this podcast. Maximum Leader Haywood’s dry wit and delivery makes the heavy topic of civilizational decay listenable. I laughed, I cried, I beat my kettlebell record. 10/10 content.

A notable strength is a coherent through-line that ties historical examples to contemporary issues, offering a distinctive perspective for listeners who value depth, intellectual rigor, and provocative viewpoints.
