  • Less ads, better descriptions

Great show, but listen homie, I know you have acknowledged this already, but the current ad situation is untenable. They are very frequent and *very* annoying. I listen to your show much less than I did before as a result. I am not against ads, but I am against yours. Other podcasts have found a way to make them work, you can too. Also, consider adding thoughtful descriptions for each episode. It whets the appetite. Often, I have no idea who your guests are or what you plan to cover other... more

  • Fingernails on a chalkboard

Guest interactions and responses sound a priori and are a bit cringe. Painful at times to hear the strained, hollow and unnatural affect. Interesting guests and topics. Hopefully J will find his stride

  • Movie Reviews

I really enjoy the movie reviews. It is a nice break from my regular listening routine.

I can’t wait until the next movie review.

  • DO NOT LEARN YOUR HISTORY FROM THIS SHOW

I enjoy listening to this show but they —the host and guests — are wrong as often as they are right about historical facts and data they cite.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Donald Trump's Report Card w/ Stormy Waters: Ep. 499
Q: What is your initial expectation for the grading of Agenda 47 promises?
We expect to land somewhere in the low to mid range, possibly around a D, before applying partial credits, with some promises getting larger margins for improvement and others scoring poorly due to failure to meet objectives.
"Nine-One-One" w/ Joe Atwill: Ep. 493
Q: describe, who are you and what do you do?
I'm Joe Atwill, an author and commentator known for Caesar's Messiah and discussions on the current political situation, skeptical of mainstream historical narratives, and I host discussions on conspiratorial and alternative analyses.
Offensive Christianity w/ J. Chase Davis: Ep. 494
Q: Chase, welcome to the show. Can you introduce yourself and what you do?
Chase Davis describes himself as a pastor and author, teaching at The Well Church in Boulder, Colorado, with books on theology and masculine identity.
King of Dogs w/ Andrew Edwards: Ep. 492
Q: What are you trying to accomplish with Grayson and how does his internal dialogue shape the story?
Grayson embodies a complex moral compass and restraint; his inner monologue explores the tension between action and mercy, showing how a character can be both capable of violence and governed by a personal code that guides his decisions.
King of Dogs w/ Andrew Edwards: Ep. 492
Q: Give us kind of a thumbnail sketch of King of Dogs.
The book is more traditional and grounded than Crowbar, with a collapsing America backdrop, focusing on Grayson, a man who must honor a deathbed promise while navigating violence, loyalty, and moral conflict in a near-future setting.
