After choosing to play on Saturday’s while I still could I turned to this to keep my ear in for all things yellow until I creak in a few more places… I’ve been a supporter since the Don O’Riordon days and the added snippets of nostalgia really set this podcast apart.
I especially like how there’s a little coverage of the local leagues in dispatches and how “matter-of-fact” some of the match reports are; we know we are not going to win the champions league, yet…!

Everybody has a “ second” team. Mine is Torquay United, I am a Nottingham Forest season ticket holder. Way back in my school days in the early 70’s for no reason Torquay United was picked by a few of us as a second team. I have seen Torquay play a few times, not recently I must admit. The last time was a 2-2 draw at Plainmoor in a pre season friendly Torquay v Forest.
