  • Playing the Game, Not the Occasion

Your episode with Dan Burn is a lesson in how pressure doesn’t have to break you—it can refine you. The strategy he uses—“shrinking the stage” to narrow focus—is exactly what separates those who perform under fire from those who crack. Quiet resilience, intentional breathing, clarity under stress: those are the hidden currencies of real growth. Bravo for a conversation that bridges sport and strategy.

  • Just Not Sure About Damian

As a Wrexham fan I, sadly, had to break the Humphrey Ker pod into 3 sittings. Not because of the guest, but the presenter.

I believe that high performance generally goes hand in hand with high impact.

I laughed too Damian, when HK recalled telling Reynolds that he’ll get called a C by a disgruntled fan when his children are in earshot. I also laughed throughout which didn’t happen often from the presenter.

Flat, dull, and hoping to have my mind changed, and the rating I have just posted.

  • It has gone

I used to love this podcast, but now it’s got mixed up, I enjoyed the Jake and Damian dynamic with guests, but now there are series of out takes with Damian’s opinion and now a producer giving an opinion, I don’t care…

Along with now having to wait for the good interview unless you go through the website.

Please get back to where you were. Less is more!

  • Out of touch

Unfortunately this pod has become less and less accessible. A recent ep saying “£20m in a bank account and still depressed” says it all
