Kate, Luke and Pete are here with some deserved props for Sunderland after their promotion back to the Championship, while Grimsby Town set up a tie with Wrexham despite the efforts of international man of mystery, Ian Burchnall. Who is also football... more
I just can’t understand why you couldn’t do at least one show a week with the original four to keep your loyal fan base happy. The shows without Marcus at the helm are still enjoyable, special mention for Vish, but nothing compared to what it once was. Ten plus years of a successful format down the drain. To reduce things to gender is a shame but I can’t help but feel much of the criticism towards the new format basically boils down to the fact they don’t want women talking about football. Kate and Jules know more than the person in the mirror and are funnier too. Great pod that manages to churn out amazing content daily. Only rivalled by Jimbo’s Totally Football and actually think it just beats it to no. 1
The pod is still one of my faves but I Often now check to see who’s in the line up before listening when back in the days of two shows a week With the the four lads it was unmissable. more
Started to only cover the “big six” hardly mention many other clubs lately
Apologies for the long run up, and I’m sure this has been said in this parish before, on more than one occasion, especially by today’s esteemed co-host and colleague, who has a wealth of experience in the field that no doubt puts my knowledge to shame, but just off the dome piece, I think it amounts to a question of ‘is the pod fit for purpose?’ and what I would say is, ‘no, it isn’t.’
