It’s a fantastic podcast, with some of the sharpest opinions out there - I’ve been listening for years but finally the betting ads have become too much for me and I’m tapping out. For me, it’s shifted from the betting plugs being mildly annoying and cringey to something more uncomfortable, with the pundits giving advertorial spiel encouraging listeners to gamble. Used to religiously listen to the show until they started bringing on the laziest of the lot, to the likes of Tim Spiers, who openly admits to not watching football matches but providing his full weight (it’s a lot) and 20 cents on the world’s best football stars.
