  • Very good

The athletic is undoubtedly one of the most respected and entertaining sports journalism, and that shouldn’t be a surprise for anyone. I must say that I enjoy this podcast, but other athletic productions like Jimbo’s Totally Football Show tend to be more engaging, rather than the bland athletic fc. I must also admit that the random outbursts of sound are quite annoying, and if you are listening to the podcast to relax, you have to change the volume many times throughout episodes. • Nothing innovative

Every podcast is the same mundane, reactive rubbish pumped out on the BBC football site every. Shame as I like the pundits, but really need more interesting topics.

  • Opinion

Good show but host is often very excitable, with voice levels becoming unbearable at times. Don’t like the bookies odds on Saturday review.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Cesc Fabregas, data, and Disney: Inside Como
Q: How do you feel about the rise of Como and your club's success?
It feels the same—victories are important, but we focus on executing our game plans effectively.
Cesc Fabregas, data, and Disney: Inside Como
Q: How do you convince investors that football can be a sustainable business?
At first, it was a content play to support our TV business, but when it turned into a business on its own, we had to show that it could be successful.
One year of Amorim: The good, the bad and "the worst Man United team in history"
Q: Did you get a sense of that relatability when you were talking to the people around him, how he interacts with people, how he communicates?
Absolutely. He was described to me as like an influencer. This is not an influencer in our world.
One year of Amorim: The good, the bad and "the worst Man United team in history"
Q: Critch, take us back to that day. Tell us how United fans were feeling considering he was replacing Eric Ten Hag at the time.
There was sort of two strands of opinion, I would say, at the time and two strands of sentiment and feeling around it.
Ornstein meets Adam Wharton: “I was born in Blackburn not Barcelona”
Q: Was that from him or from the staff?
Adam confirms he received a message from the manager about wanting to stick with the previous team but encourages him to keep working.
