I love the podcast. Very intelligent, informed discussion. However, regarding that Villa fan that appears from time to time, is there a lottery to choose random supporters or did he just wander in by mistake?
This is one of the absolute best football podcasts, and perfect if you wanna listen and not be too worried if you miss stuff here and there.
If I’m honest, I prefer the episodes without Barry. Nothing against him, he’s funny, and has his thing, but they went through a phase of trying to make him The Fonz or some main character for the podcast (can’t even come up with an English equivalent) and it didn’t work. He’s one of the crew when he’s on, but the others do just fine without him. Zero drop ... more
You have Jacob Steinberg on despite his hatred of Palestinians, including the sharing of multiple articles slamming Pep Guardiola without asking him about it? You lost the plot. See ya.
I really like this show and all the guests however have a real problem with Barry. For me it is not as informed as the other guest and indeed guest on other football podcast. Just seems somewhat lazy and downbeat in his review of football matters.
Really love this show, I was worried when Jimbo left it would be rubbish, because I always thought Max was a bit of a bell, but he’s really won me over.
Barry of course is grumpy but great. In general all the people on it are great. It is my favourite go to show and cheered me up in hard times.
Only complaint I have is I would a lot like more Barney Ronay, the man is a genius and tends to be always spot on with his assessment.
