  • Great analysis, too many ads

Nothing wrong with the content, it’s excellent. All the pundits are knowledgeable and smart, but tacking what can be sometimes ten minutes of ads on to a 30-40

minute show is excessive. I’d gladly pay a small amount monthly to enjoy it ad-free.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Ask OTC: Tammy leaves Türkiye, embarrassment for Atléti, and going crazy for Cresswell
Q: Given Atlético Madrid's inconsistency, can they still reach the knockout stage?
The hosts express skepticism that Atlético can be genuine contenders in the Champions League anymore, noting a past dominance under Diego Simeone but suggesting the club may not be at that elite level currently, particularly due to poor away form.
Ask OTC: Lukaku’s fate, Schlotterbeck’s choice and an English legend at Cesena
Q: Why does Nicky think Lukaku missed training for Napoli and could it be the beginning of the end for him in Naples?
Nicky notes the public stance from Lukaku about being fully committed while pointing to the broader context of injuries, personal matters, and the club's governance; the discussion emphasizes that it's too early to conclude but suggests it may reflect deeper tensions between Lukaku, Napoli, and Conte's long-term plans.
De Klassieker exposes Ajax and Feyenoord's flaws
Q: What are the main issues facing Ajax under Oscar Garcia and how might they be addressed moving forward?
The guests discuss a need for stronger leadership on the pitch, more mature decision-making from the squad, and a more stable defensive structure, while also noting Garcia's track record with youth development and the potential for a tactical pivot to balance attacking intent with solidity.
De Klassieker exposes Ajax and Feyenoord's flaws
Q: What happened in the match between Feyenoord and Ajax and what does it reveal about each team's current trajectory?
Kalum explains that the 1-1 draw reflected cautious defaulting to defense from both sides, with Ajax taking the lead and Feyenoord equalizing via a late penalty; the match highlighted Ajax's fragile defensive balance and Feyenoord's reliance on strategic leadership under pressure.
Ask OTC: Taking over Atléti, Atalanta's revamp and social media scouts
Q: What's the story behind Como hiring a social media content creator to be a scout for the first team?
The hosts explain this as part of a broader trend toward democratization of scouting, where young, tech-savvy analysts can contribute valuable insights; they view it as forward-thinking and indicative of how clubs are leveraging non-traditional pathways to identify talent.
