For this pod to get near its former glory, then a new anchor is required, or at least Daniel needs to simply ask the questions without then pontificating his own knowledge and anecdotes (which are vast). Also stop interrupting other’s inputs. In simple terms - talk less! more
A wonderfully insightful and entertaining podcast.
Paid Friend of the pod and long time listeners. No K0 for the Vuelta? I’ve felt as though Daniel can’t be bother to participate for a min. now but its become apparent he’s “mailing it in these days”. Daniel, if you can’t be asked to cover a race, maybe let someone else do it, right. Recent podcasts sound like you’re doing us a favor by showing up. The further we get from Richard’s passing, the further this pod gets from being great.
This is like being in a bar with your wittiest and most erudite friends talking with vast expertise about a subject you love. Genuinely excited when a new episode drops.
