  • It’s the “I got you” tone that hooked me!

I think what’s so refreshing here is the gentleness that goes into these conversations. There is no tone of lecture, only tones of “been there” / “I get it” / “that’s okay” / “I got you” that allows me, the listener, the seeker, to then take a breath and let my guard down as I go into something new. There’s an element about Julie that taps into comfort. It makes the want to apply these goals and perspectives feel truly personal and DOable, not just MAYBEable. She’s not talking to her whole audie... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

18: The System for Surviving Success with Juliana Tomlinson
Q: If you could go back to a moment before that crazy season started, what would you do differently?
Reconnect with her why and flip the script to base goals on personal life and family rather than business milestones, ensuring the business serves personal priorities and not the other way around.
18: The System for Surviving Success with Juliana Tomlinson
Q: What changes have you made logistically, mentally, emotionally?
She talks about implementing systems, hiring an online business manager (Abby Martinez of Well-Balanced Business), delegating tasks, and relaunching her Elevate program. These changes reduced overwhelm and allowed her to protect creativity and well-being.
18: The System for Surviving Success with Juliana Tomlinson
Q: Okay, Juliana, tell me about that crash point. Tell me about that season of your life. What made it so successful and so unsustainable?
She describes a peak year of massive bookings and high revenue that simultaneously brought burnout. The busy season exposed a misalignment between her external metrics of success and her internal needs, prompting a reevaluation of priorities beyond money and status.
20: The System for Building a Brand That Actually Feels Like You with Dakota Hersey
Q: What are kind of the red flags that a brand isn't really rooted in who they are?
If people can't feel like their marketing is easy and cohesive, it often means they haven't truly understood their core messaging, which leads to clunky content and inconsistent experiences.
14: The System for Keeping It Personal (Even When It’s Prewritten) with Colie James
Q: How can someone start implementing templates without getting overwhelmed?
Start with one template, measure how much time it saves, and then gradually expand; the booking proposal is the most impactful first step because it directly speeds up payments and reduces back-and-forth.
