Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, so I’m not here to change hers, but mamas should be warned that this is a part of her podcast. She is very clear that she is pro-choice and in support of abortion. As someone going through a high risk pregnancy, praying that we can make it full term, I find zero encouragement hearing someone affirm the “freedom” to end a tiny woman’s life in favor of an older woman. I was completely in awe of this podcast during my pregnancy. So when my birth went sideways and ended up as emergency c-section, I was devastated — I didn’t get to have my positive birth story :( I had too high expectations for birth partly created by this podcast. I think c-sections that are very common should be also covered here.

I absolutely love this podcast. I cannot get enough of it. I’m pregnant with my first child, and this podcast has really opened my mind to what birth can be and to really advocate for myself and what I want during my birth. And having just moved to Sweden at the end of 2021 this has really helped me feel comfortable and confident to give birth here.
