  • Love it ❤️

This is one of my favourite pods and I especially love the catch ups with the girls and hearing about their families. The Judgy James pod was a funny insight into family life. So real but don’t worry the girls are the best! 😆

Olivia Rubin On Building A Fashion Brand & Being Mum
Q: Was there a turning point that made you decide you had to slow down?
Yes, around late 2023, after a big 50-piece collection showed to buyers but much of it was cut, realizing the designs were being altered beyond her enjoyment. She decided to stop chasing growth for growth's sake and simplified the business to focus on things she genuinely loved.
Olivia Rubin On Building A Fashion Brand & Being Mum
Q: For those who don't know you, how did your fashion brand evolve and why did you decide to slow things down?
She described a 20-year career in fashion, growing a label rapidly but eventually feeling overwhelmed by travel, deadlines, and the relentless six-month design cycle, which led to burnout. She chose to reduce production, limit wholesale, and focus on artistry and well-being while maintaining income through smaller operations and new collaborations.
Lauren Goodger on Grief, Motherhood and Rebuilding Her Life
Q: What was going through your mind when you considered not going ahead with another pregnancy after Larose?
She explains the fear and responsibility after a traumatic birth, choosing to protect Larose and her own wellbeing, and deciding to proceed with another pregnancy despite concerns.
Lauren Goodger on Grief, Motherhood and Rebuilding Her Life
Q: Tell us about growing up with your dad most of the time.
Lauren describes a childhood split between two households, with distinct parenting styles from her dad and her mum, which created early-adulthood anxiety but also shaped her independence and appreciation for family balance.
Friday Q&A: Emma Bardwell on Demystifying Food & Nutrition
Q: What about electrolytes—are they necessary for most people or only in specific circumstances?
Emma downplays routine electrolyte use, stating they're generally unnecessary unless you sweat heavily or are in hot climates; they're not needed for the average daily routine.
