A lifelong Led Zeppelin fan sharing live Zep and related shows with fans. There's way more to Zeppelin than their official releases. Also I do bonus episodes featuring live recordings of other classic rock artists. $heartofmarkness

June 1972 is a golden month for Zep fans. Lots of great shows, including the ones which would eventually be released as How The West Was Won. This is June 15, 1972 at Nassau Colosseum and it is awesome. We hear a first gen from the AC recording and b... more
This show is all kinds of magickal, to me. First, I was there. Second, Jimmy Page was on fire this whole tour. Third, Robert Plant was in attendance so the band knocked it up a notch. This is October 29, 1988 and Jimmy Page is at the Worcester Centru... more
This a brand new transfer from Mike Millard's master cassettes themselves (not the DAT tansfer) by the laudable JEMS tape group, remastered tastefully by DADGAD. June 27, 1977. Led Zeppelin's final night of a five night run at the LA Forum. I play Si... more
This is an absolute joy of a gig from John Paul Jones, who appeared at the Big Ears Music Festival in Knoxville, TN on March 22, 2024. He played all three days of the event. One night with Sons of Chipotle, one night solo (which is what I'm playing),... more

Thank you Mark D for all your efforts with rhis podcast. Prior to hearing of you, I was very much a "I have "How the West was won" and Jimmy says that's the peak so why listen to other Boots?" Attitude. But I can now appreciate all the nuances of the other tours. A very enjoyable listen.
I love this podcast! Mark is extremely knowledgeable about the history of Led Zeppelin, as a band, and as individual members. He gives a very nice insight to many of the live Led Zeppelin concert that have been recorded over the years. Mark also gives a very delicious sample of many different live shows, spanning multiple tours of the band. I can’t get enough of this podcast, and listen to it continuously! If you really want a good Zepplin podcast, I recommend this one!
Love it!
Mark really knows his stuff. Even in the rare occasion where he may be slightly under prepared, he can still mostly keep you engaged. Researched very well and great sense of humor to keep the flow moving forward.
Mark picks some of the best shows. A truly unique podcast in content, commentary, and knowledge of zepp. Essential listening. Trust this fan!!! You will not be disappointed.
