  • Completely lost faith in this podcast

After years of subscribing to the NYT and listening to The Opinions podcast, I am now removing this podcast completely from my feed. I have always enjoyed it, so I was surprised and horrified to listen to "The Rich Don't Play by the Rules. So Why Should I?". It was bad in SO many ways:

    1. It presented weak and flimsy arguments that made me lose complete faith in the reasoning powers of the show's hosts.

    2. It gave ammunition to the right, at a particularly critical time in our nation's politics,... more

  • Piker /Tolentino Podcast: Shameful

Ridiculous and morally repugnant excuse for shoplifting. No doubt there’s a market for this sort of self-help advice. But for an NYT podcast audience — really? Doesn’t the Times have a higher bar for its information products?

I can’t tell you how much I enjoy hearing Robert Siegel’s voice once again on the “airwaves”. I loved him on NPR and now he’s back. Thoughtful, witty, always asking the probing questions with humility and sincerity. He’s a treasure. Thank you, NYT Opinions.

I don’t care that you platform people like Piker, but not to question the murder of a person who simply was successful makes the NY times totally disgusting. 0 stars
