I very much appreciate the content that is provided here. However, the constant addition of “You May Like” podcasts (the same 2-3) is…really overkill. If I wanted to listen to Jay Shetty or Oprah, I’d have subscribed but alas, I have not. I’m all for promoting other people and I’m sure their podcasts are listenable, but having each show, show up in the feed a minimum of three times every week is just overkill and a more mindful approach would just be appreciated.
I appreciate your effort to include the stories of women. I find your story telling to be fair and human. Women’s stories are frequently left out or glossed over in the world of rock and roll. You keep the vibes old school while treating women as people. Keep up the great work.
Typical fake alpha loser who thinks he's always the smartest person in the room. Big yikes.
Not mentioned but my two cents: Easy Rider is an easy bucket I guess but I don't think you can leave that out of a top 5, midnight cowboy for sure, and I'd make a case for 2 Sidney Poitier films, namely The Defiant Ones and In The Heat of the Night.
Started listening a couple years ago and am all caught up. Now starting over. Met Jake once at Boston Calling just before the Foo Fighters came on. Nice guy and would definitely have a beer with him. Thank you for this amazing podcast. I lived in Clinton in high school and went to school in South Lancaster. I am a badventist now. lol. Keep up the awesome work.
