  • Good info

Fanstastic info and research. Really don’t appreciate how you think you have to hold the listeners hand as you speak about unacceptable behaviour or politics that don’t match your worldview. It’s quite frankly patronising and takes up too much time in the podcast.

Neverthless I’ll continue to listen sporadically until you get too far into the 70s.

(Also no ‘On the Road Again’ or ‘Going Up The Country’ episodes?)

Never stopped since, might eventually even go as far as Fairport Convention double episode. Only downside: The author has, apparently due to health issues, slowed down his output so much that it seems unlikely we will ever get to the end of the project. At the current goin... more

  • Just too woke

And I say this as a liberal. I applaud Mr Hickey’s dedication to this project and wanted to continue with it. But just too often Mr Hickey would brow beat us with his social theory as if it were true, and not just his perspective. Sorry but it put me off to the podcast.
