i can no longer listen. although some of the best interviews with musicians have been featured here, and rick’s curiosity is endlessly admirable, the show has revealed its true colours in a repeated absence of diverse interview subjects and a penchant for giving the spotlight to tech bros and maga donors. a bit heartbroken about it.

Interviewing high society traumatised persons featured in unmoral files, unlawful practices and poisoning society. Rubin is so unattached to the real world. Never let a man who can’t make his own food dictate what is sane. Rubin is great when being interviewed but not ... more
This podcast has introduced me to so many people I wasn’t previously too aware of, if at all And in many cases they inspired me and challenged my views for the better. For those I did know, and have heard interviewed before in most cases, their interview with Rick was much more unique and illustrative of their formative experiences. Rick has a way of interviewing that seems to be just based out of love and true curiosity. He never brings up any drama unless the interviewee wants to bring it up. Even the episodes that I don’t think I’m going to be interested in end up being incredibly interesting and enlightening. I’ve re-listened to quite a few episodes.
These interviews are so expansive and rife with insight. I can’t get enough. And to all the reviewers criticizing specific guest selections, get over yourselves.
