Reviews

4.5 out of 5 stars from 148 ratings
  • Democratic and politics insiders

One criticism right off: the levels on the microphones of the two hosts are completely off. One mic level is way too high, the other too low, so I’m constantly adjusting the volume when one or the other speaks.

This is a great podcast focused Colorado politics from the perspective of centrist Democrat insiders. This isn’t boring, misleading, newsy stuff. The problem with “news” is how much the average person has to read between the lines to get an understanding of what’s really happening. This... more

  • Can I give more stars??

A bright spot in a dark chapter of history, Jason and Ian share their knowledge, wit, and most of all the small bit of lightness to a review of otherwise depressing individuals and actions in today’s world.

  • Snarky know-it-alls emblematic of CO’s decline

If you want to hear 2 arrogant know-it-alls delivery the only possible correct take on every issue ever, this is your podcast. They don’t like anyone who disagrees with them. They talk down to the opposition. They bring on guests who agree with their agenda for softball interviews where nothing is challenged. Rename this to the “CO circlejerk / fluffing one another as the state is burning.”

My suggestion would be: look at how this state has changed in the last 10–15 years. Why is the crime and... more

  • Best podcast on CO politics!

This post has stood the test of time!

Thanks for having all the major candidates on the show!!

The guys are brilliant at dissecting the current state of politics from all angles. Even though the content is often insufferable and depressing, they make it as light as possible and always make me laugh. I listen every week to be in the know!
