  • STOP THE “YOU MIGHT ALSO LIKE” PODCAST INSERTIONS!!!!!

I enjoy the podcast although I do wish it had more diversity of voices across the political spectrum as it leans very progressive (I get it, it’s Denver). That said, I appreciate that the show keeps me clued in to what’s going on in the city.

3 stars for adding unrelated podcasts to its feed via the “YOU MIGHT ALSO LIKE” feature. When multiple podcasts do this it makes my playlists useless with auto playing 50% of podcasts I’m not subscribed to, nor have any interest in. STOP IT!!!! NO, I don’... more

  • Paul seems to be kind of a centrist loser, but they do have fantastic guests. I just cringe every time Paul pulls back to be the "devil's advocate" position.

  • The worst

If you love listening to white progressives lecture you about all the causes, this is your show. Bree sighs, a lot, to really really emphasize how compassionate she is. Unfortunately her brain is powered by a hamster wheel so she only knows the buzzwords like “no human is illegal on stolen land.” Oh and she’s a big fan of diners and Betty bop. So listen in as they talk about progressive policies, as if they haven’t failed and ruined every great American city, while they bring on a barrage of gue... more

Talking Points

Where Denver Falls in the Harm Reduction Conversation
Q: Is that correct?
Yes, the March through May 2025 overdose death numbers were the worst on record for those months in Denver, reflecting a broader crisis tied to an unregulated drug supply and Fentanyl-related deaths.
Attorney General Phil Weiser on Data Center Moratoriums, Bike Lanes, and His Run for Governor
Q: What is the first thing you would do on your first day in office as governor?
Focus on changing the culture of state government, emphasizing listening, collaboration, and problem solving across branches and with communities.
Will the Broncos Stadium Actually Get Built By 2030? Plus, AI Backlash in Englewood and Which Congressperson Snubbed Us?
Q: What are the long-term implications for the public if major redevelopment projects proceed with limited community input?
The discussion warns that community benefits must be clearly defined and that neighborhood meetings will be pivotal in ensuring residents feel included and that projects are aligned with local needs.
Will the Broncos Stadium Actually Get Built By 2030? Plus, AI Backlash in Englewood and Which Congressperson Snubbed Us?
Q: Do you think the incumbent candidate is under threat in the primary, and how might that influence campaigning and media strategy?
There's a sense that incumbents face pressure and need to reconnect with constituents; challengers like Wanda James and Mila Kyros have momentum, which could push the incumbent to adapt strategy and engage more directly with voters.
Will the Broncos Stadium Actually Get Built By 2030? Plus, AI Backlash in Englewood and Which Congressperson Snubbed Us?
Q: What is your response when a candidate declines an interview, given how common it is for public officials to skip or delay appearances?
The hosts discuss that it's disappointing and can undermine transparency, but public officials should make time and be flexible to engage, especially with a highly engaged audience.
