Have followed this podcast for a couple of years and i do still believe it’s a great daily discussion of what’s going on in town.
However… Some of the platformed guests are baffling (e.g a multipart series punching up Boebert who pretty clearly just hates denver, you know, the topic of the show and the city we live in) and Paul feels like he’s actively striving to be a contrarian anytime something remotely hot button comes up. I moved to Denver and I started listening to this. They have such a AWFUL pulse on the city, they cozy up to politicians for interviews and tend to sugar coat things and paint ppl who don’t agree with them politically as monsters. They are so out of touch it’s scary. They literally made a podcast about the bridge proposal everyone hates on why it’ll be great. They’re like government sponsored propaganda. I think they live in bubbles and don’t really look at things in a balanced manner. This show... more
