  • Good news, bad podcast

CPR does top notch journalism, and this podcast is no exception. But, the hosts (and often the guests) way over enunciate and sound like they’re reading off of a script. Doesn’t work for a podcast. They need to work on developing a comfortable and conversational tone. Arlo is especially bad. Dude sounds like AI.

But one of their feel good Friday episodes was nothing but a religious story. I have no problem with religion, but I try to avoid talkin... more

  • Understand their bias

This is not news, it’s opinion. They use loaded terms like “gun safety.” They’re also not accurate at all when it comes to subjects with which they aren’t already familiar as left-wing activists with an agenda.

As an example, look at their July 1, 2025 podcast. The “gun safety” subject was very monotone and also inaccurate (tube shotguns aren’t impacted by the latest CO gun control laws, but they said “shotguns” were. Only detachable magazine shotguns are impacted).
