I like the dynamic of non gamer against gamer. Wished they played some meatier games but I guess that’s why they are called the gateway gamers.
I’m not a huge board game guy but after listening & learning about the different kinds of games & IP out there I decided to go out & buy one. This podcast really covers a lot of different games & different styles of play. One thing I learned from these guys is that there is a game out there for everyone. A great listen & great for a ride to work. Not every game grabs my attention but still interesting to hear the different mechanics explain & the honest opinions & viewpoints of each game.
Makes me want to get this game. I always had good reviews about Thanos rising or even the Empire rising. i’m a big dice master fan so I’m waiting for that episode I’m still on catch-up mode. Producer Audra, now RP wife, keeps on bringing out the thematic good music.
Came for dice throne, stayed for the good content and enjoyable hosts.
