On Today’s cast we begin our coverage of the Night Lords with of course their formation under the emperor (it is awful). We then talk a bit about how the emperor used them as the 8th legion (also awful). But then we jump in Konrad Kurze (not Konrad C... more

Excellent podcast. Also, could you make a few more episodes about space marines in general as opposed to specific chapters? Like talk about their abilities and how they function on the tabletop? (I know you already made an episode like that early on but another one would be great)
Love these guys. They are true fans of the lore.
Fun podcast, discord isn’t as welcoming as they tout. I would not recommend it as the one stop shop for all things 40K as they say. But podcast is still great! Nicer communities for newer players out there and those who want to ask questions.
Do an in-depth episode about the imperial guard and imperial tanks land Raiders Lehman Russ’s royal dorm and if you weren’t gonna do any of that, please at least do an episode on banblade
OK, so there was this one guy who left another review that was completely hating on John. Don’t listen to him, John. You’re doing great.
PS: Brad and Chester are also great and so is the entire show overall.

A lore-driven deep dive into Warhammer 40k, hosted by two long-running explorers of the 41st millennium. Episodes blend rigorous lore analysis, timeline connections, and canon debates with playful banter, covering factions, characters, and major events across the galaxy. The show repeatedly nails complex topics like Necron dynasties, Primarchs, and faction interplays, all while translating intricate lore into accessible explanations for both newcomers and hardcore fans. A standout trait is the dynamic duo format—combining strong subject-matter knowledge with entertaining chemistry—which helps balance dense theory with engaging storytelling. The podcast frequently references codices, novels, and game history, and offers cross-promotion oppor... more
