I'm here on this day writing a review at the bottom of an Audible podcast because YouTube has violently banged me into a corner head first with endless and I mean endless ads. I'm dead and done, I'll miss the professional and tip tier editing but it'll be worth it knowing I can listen while I work my blue collar job. You're the greatest, except shilling. Brick got that on lock unfortunately XD
This is a very good podcast for anyone into warhammer. All kinds of amazing discussions and tips and other stuff. 2 bros (and some other friends) talking about something they love. Would recommend!
This is the ultimate Warhammer podcast and a great way to distract yourself from current world events. (Most of this review is about 40k but they have AOS content as well!) They have everything, from hobby advice (which has been extremely helpful) to books to dataslates and codexes to 40k trivia game shows. Nearly everything is entertaining, and if there is an aspect of 40k you’re most interested in, you’ll find no shortage of videos on the topic. One of my favorite parts of this podcast are the... more

A lot of people say that Poorhammer (mostly Brad) complains too much about Games Workshop. To those people: shut up. Games Workshop is basically a monopoly. As an American listening to an American podcast, we kinda despise monopolies. It’s part of our history. To someone looking at these reviews, there is a decent bit of complaining about Games Workshop’s BS practices, but the two hosts are genuine friends and obviously enjoy what they do.

This show centers Warhammer hobby culture with a strong emphasis on design critique, hobby scalability, and approachable learning for new players. Episodes routinely balance in-depth discussions of 40K and AoS rules, army-building philosophies, and practical hobby tips, from primer guides to budget-conscious collecting. A recurring strength is the playful but informed banter between hosts, with a knack for turning complex rules or pricey releases into accessible, entertaining dialogue. The format often blends theory with hands-on guidance, sparked by community giveaways, audience questions, and a willingness to critique product design and balance with humor.
A notable edge is the show's willingness to explore design space—detachment design... more
