I’m gonna be real. I loved this… but only cause CR. everything else just felt like fanboys (and fangirls) just trying to copy what CR had. I only listened to this for the episodes of CR that aren’t on their channel.
I’m not usually allowed to listen to things like this (me being 12 and all) but it’s pretty cool and jester, Back off!
I absolutely adore this show. Have for years. So great to go back and listen to over and over again and it really never gets old. That said, it misses the fifth star for only one reason: the editing. They will throw ads in randomly, even in the middle of someone’s sentence or *extremely* intense scene and it totally kills the vibe. There is a break for a reason… it would be much more convenient and the story would play out WAY better if they used the break as intended. Not going to stop me from ... more
Only place I can listen to the first 19 episodes of c2 of critical role, ads used to be manageable but are now randomly scattered through the episode and there are way more than there used to be. Usually I wouldn’t complain and just deal with the ads but the random placement interrupted the flow of the episode.
Goblin mode is a hidden gem that should not remain hidden for much longer. Funny and touching with what is possibly the fastest paced ttrpg I've ever heard, do not miss this wonderful show.
