It's everything you could possibly want and more. The production quality is one of the best I've experienced. Brennan delivers his genre setting style, Aabria brings their personal dm flavor to every twist and turn, and then we are graced with Lou and Erica's story telling styles!! So incredible
This is truly outstanding work from these incredibly talented storytellers. The world building is second to none and the humour, the emotional pull, the voices, rich characters, all of it just leaves you wanting more even after a very satisfying end. I am hooked.
Truly, WBN sets the standard for what story-forward ttrpg actual play shows should be. I am spoiled for all others. Thank you for bringing more beauty of story into the world. Bonus: I actually met my current tabletop group because of this show!
I’ve relistened three times because everything is so good!! The music is delicious!!! Story telling is too notch but I expected nothing less from this crew.
Second Campaign is a major drop in quality. Pornographic, meandering, too many tangents. Aabriya's dming style is just not at the same quality as Brennan's.
We gave up soaring fantasy for tawdry conversation.
Trying to ape Dune, settling for modern star trek. Boring.

Enthusiasts can expect lush, improvised sci‑fi fantasy storytelling with high-stakes missions, intricate faction politics, and deep character moments. Episodes frequently blend rapid-fire tactical play, worldbuilding, and cross‑media expansion (graphic novels, soundtracks) that broaden the universe and deepen lore. A signature mix of humor, emotional resonance, and cinematic pacing makes it engaging for fans of long‑form collaborative storytelling, with notable attention to politics, loyalties, and the ethics of power across interstellar settings.
