  • Dr. Tabatha

As a physician who has had the opportunity to be a guest on many podcasts, I can say Dr. Tabitha Harper is truly an exceptional host. Her preparation, curiosity, and ability to ask thoughtful, intuitive questions made the conversation both engaging and meaningful.

What stands out most is how well she bridges science and real-world health conversations. She creates an environment where complex topics can be discussed openly while still being accessible to listeners.

  • Misleading

This podcast is misleading. I’ve now listened to 2 episodes, spent 30 mins each time for it to never actually get to what the show notes say it’s about. Show notes say they’ll be talking about certain things but really, they BARELY touch on the items, instead it’s an infomercial for you to join some summit that I’m sure you have to pay for.

  • Remarkable Podcast!

Dr Tabitha and her guest look at the WHOLE woman- her history, diet, relationships, traumas, health issues, & faith. The best way to heal is not pushing more prescriptions at women but to heal them holistically. Way to go, Dr Tabitha!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

286 Peptides & GLP-1s Made Simple: What Every Woman Needs to Know
Q: How should someone approach starting or stopping GLP-1 therapy?
Start with a solid foundation (diet, digestion, detox, hormonal balance). If stopping, consider slow tapering doses rather than abrupt cessation, and tailor plans to individual goals and tolerance; aggressive stopping without a plan can lead to weight regain.
286 Peptides & GLP-1s Made Simple: What Every Woman Needs to Know
Q: What are GLP-1s and what do they do for weight and metabolism?
GLP-1s slow gastric emptying, increase satiety, stimulate insulin release to help with glucose metabolism, and can support weight loss when used with foundational lifestyle changes; however, they can cause GI side effects and risk muscle and bone loss if not managed properly.
286 Peptides & GLP-1s Made Simple: What Every Woman Needs to Know
Q: What is a peptide and how do they work in the body?
Peptides are short chains of amino acids that act as messages to cells, guiding cellular functions and influencing downstream effects, much like text messages that prompt specific biological responses.
281. Your Labs Are ‘Normal’… So Why Do You Feel So Bad?
Q: How has your approach to health and wellness evolved over the past decade?
Dr. Tabitha explains that health is a spectrum beyond the absence of disease, emphasizing a shift from disease management to creating true health through lifestyle foundations, environmental awareness, and spiritual alignment. She notes the importance of reading labs for optimal ranges instead of hospital norms and highlights the role of nutrition, cycle-aware exercise, and mindset in long-term vitality.
280. What If Fat Is The Missing Piece Your Hormones Need?
Q: Does the meal plan have to be followed perfectly, or is there flexibility?
It does not require perfection; the goal is to build a sustainable foundation and teach people how to compose meals with protein, fats, and fiber, allowing for adaptation and flexibility while maintaining blood sugar stability.
