I'm just hear to echo the reviews, this is awful crap. I only hope the team don't hurt themselves jumping from the Fine Gael bandwagon as it goes down in flames.
The podcast of the year? This pod reeks of bot farm listens and sycophancy. There are lots of quality podcasts out there that have people who are into politics without wanting a job as a Fine Gael press officer.
Have been looking forward to it’s return..used to be insightful and on the pulse..but became very pro Fine Gael..here’s hoping it’s rediscovered its impartiality !
I’m starting to think Leo didn’t shut down the Strategic Communications Unit. He just started a podcast.
There was an online thing recently about Dinnybot FM, this is it in reality.
Finally a podcast for the Jordan Peterson man child in your life, but with less intelligence.
In jokes and one upmanship is about the best I can say
The incompetent pro FG analysis you've come to expect from INM
Poor imitation of other politics podcasts. Irregular, lacking analysis and rigour. Poorly produced and deeply reluctant to get to the substance of political issues. Such amazing potential for a great newsworthy analytical political podcast if the intent, work ethic and desire were there. Ive unsubscribed as it appears they (the presenters) have too....
Is it any wonder trust in the media is at an all time low, this is dour.
Independent.ie should be mad change its name to Biased, or Totally Biased. This is horrible.
A podcast for and by pro government journalists. I love Shona Murray, but the ‘lads’ sound like they’re only twiddling their thumbs until the join Niall O’Connor and Chris Donohoe in the govt jobs for the boys brigade. If this is political analysis then democracy is in trouble.
Just listened to the Noel Rock pod, it is an insight into why our reporting and our political reps are so buddy buddy. They’re like mates down the pub, not one serious social crisis facing the country is treated seriously. In fact, the lads down the pub would give better insights after a feed of pints.
Bickering and talking over one another with lots of hyperbole. What's worse is they were all in house journalists. I have unsubscribed.
This is obviously an attempt to copy the Irish Times podcast. It's a bit like when RTE try to copy a BBC show and make a mess of it. This is not a good show. I just listened to the interview with Paul Murphy. It was terrible. Constant interruptions, inane questions and a "gotcha" attitude cumulating with a lamentable attempt to tie Murphy to Farage and Le Pen.
